Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory and Brenham Bluebonnets

My loves

A 1930's ice cream freezer (I love that color blue!!!)

Enjoying the free ice cream after the tour (they picked rainbow sherbert and mommy picked Rocky Road).

A statue of their logo

I love how they put their soda shop hat on the statue.  My goofy girls at work.

So many things technically wrong in this picture from a photographer's perspective.  So many wonderful things from a mommy's perspective.  Natalie truly loves holding and playing with Kyle.  He is more than half her weight and thus very hard for her to hold.  Claire is always scared of Kyle pulling her hair, and it's like he knows it :)  This picture captured our life exactly how it is.

First Tooth

Kyle has his first tooth!  We just discovered it as we were wondering why the poor baby was so tearful at bedtime.  Sure enough, it must have just broken through his gums.  I knew if I didn't post this tonight then I wouldn't have a record for his baby book (that I have yet to buy).  One of these days, I will catch up.  Also, Mom, I now understand why my baby book wasn't completely filled out :)

Baby Kyle

Claire's first peak at Kyle.

Natalie is not fond of hospitals and anything in them.  So..it took a little coaxing to get her to look at baby Kyle.

The first boy grandson for Honey and Ah-bee.

First grandson for Sugar and Poppa too.

I love the look on Claire's face!

This look of adoration is always in Claire's eyes.  It is always reserved for her Daddy.  She thinks that not only David hung the moon and stars, but that he also created them :)
She is a daddy's girl for sure.

This is Natalie's way of coping.   She is really nervous about this new baby and she goes the silly route when she's anxious.  Hence, this face...

A high bilirubin blood level = you baby turns into a glow worm for a day.  We kept the eye shields thinking that the girls would want to dress their babies up in it.  I think it would fit perfectly on the baby Natalie has named "Super Baby".  I think Claire's baby, "Baby Formula" might be a bit small.  And if you are wondering where these doll names came from, I have no idea either.  I've realized my girls are pretty creative.

Maternity and 4 year old pictures

I just wanted to share the link to my maternity pictures and the girls' four year old portraits.  We love Gia, the photographer.  She can make my girls smile for a camera (something I usually fail at :)  Here's her website and our pics are under the proofing section.

Scrapbook page

Just wanted to share a scrapbook page that is for my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary.  I'm trying to do pages by the year of their marriage, so 1962 was their 11th year of marriage.  I love the clothes in these pics!  The girls are my mom, aunt, and cousin.  The digital elements are a quick page from Shabby Princess's Clementine collection.

Now, here is the inside of the David's father's day card from the girls.  Leave it to Natalie to answer a question like that (third line):

I am determined to finish  a scrapbook for my girls before Kyle arrives.  I know I should start in chronological order and make a baby book but my ADD brain does not compute that type of thinking.  So, I'm going to start with what's recent and easiest...Disney!

All papers and elements from Shabby Princess.
